Kamya Punjabi, currently playing Kamya in Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, has turned down two shows — Saat Phere (Zee) and Ek Ladki Anjani Si (Sony).She was also there in Kyun hota hai Pyaar. She was also there in “Reth and Astitva. She was offered Shweta Kawaatra’s role in Saat Phere,but she was too busy with Reth and Astitva that time.Currently she is playing the role of Sindura in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann.

Now Kamya Punjabi may be making life hell for her sister-in-law in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, but off-screen the actress has had her share of troubles. Recently when the crew of the serial was ready to head for a Singapore schedule, Kamya (she plays Sindura) discovered she had an expired passport. Making matters worse are the new rules; under which expired passports can't be renewed and one has to go through the regular application process.
Prior to this the actress was involved in an accident on the sets of another serial Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki, while filming an action sequence. Two years ago her car crashed into a BEST bus at Peddar Road. Apparently she did not receive any help form the public and tackled the episode all by herself.
In relationships too, Kamya has not had a rosy ride. Her marriage to Bunty Negi, a designer was a turbulent one, which eventually ended in a divorce after a prolonged separation. She went on record claiming that the couple was just not made for each other. Unfortunately she even had a miscarriage during that period.
For some time now, rumour mills have been abuzz with reports of her affair with her Woh Rehne…co-star Nimay Bali. But that relationship too seems to have ended, as Nimay is apparently planning to get back to his ex- wife.
Well Kamya's life seems to have been one helluva roller-coaster ride. Perhaps she could try some numerology. What say KKamya?
